Perth Modern School students have won more WACE awards than any other secondary school with 79.

 Hui Min Tay won the Beazley medal: Western Australian Certificate of Education for achieving the highest School Curriculum and Standards Authority award score.

 Perth Modern School students Hongyi Gao came second and Jet Kye Chong third based on their award score.

 Nine students achieved a General Exhibition, which are awarded to 41 eligible students with the highest School Curriculum and Standards Authority award score based on the average of five scaled scores with at least two from each of the humanities/social science lists and the mathematics/science list.  

41 students made the ’99 Club’ for achieving an ATAR score of 99 or higher.

Six students achieved a perfect ATAR of 99.95:

Henry Yoo, Hui Min Tay, Hyerin Park, Jessica Leonie Knight, Hongyi Gao and Jet Kye Chong.

Principal of Perth Modern School Lois Joll said the Class of 2015 was a “wonderful group of young people who worked together with their families and teachers to achieve this exceptional result.”
