Ebony Young, Lizzy Phillips and Lauren Schillaci won third place in the RAC's Fame competition for their short film entry which stressed that it is not cool for motor vehicle drivers or passengers to neglect to wear a seatbelt.

Fame is the RAC's school based safety competition that challenges Years 10, 11 and 12 students to design and produce road safety advertisements relevant to young drivers in the areas of press, online and film.

This year, more than 150 students from 12 schools entered the competition.

The girls took an important road safety issue and turned it into something that was effective in educating young people about the importance of wearing seatbelts.
