At the end of Term 1 2020, Perth Modern School filmed a virtual Anzac Commemoration as our traditional whole-school assembly was not possible due to social distancing regulations. The service was filmed to be shown later to students once they could return to school. On Friday, 1 May the students watched the commemoration in class and stood for a minute’s silence to honour Australia’s fallen soldiers and especially Perth Mod soldiers. It was a fantastic effort by all involved and we thank and acknowledge the students who came into school during the holidays for filming so that we could be assured of continuing this proud school tradition. Please take some time to view the commemoration via the link below, the duration of the video is 25 minutes and watch right until the end to see the grand ending by our very talented Wind Band 1 students.
