In September, Year 7 student Archie Taylor was riding home from school when he noticed a dog on a busy street that seemed lost. Befriending the dog, Archie kept it safe and texted his mum for the phone number of the local ranger. Archie rang the ranger at Subiaco Council who attended the scene and took over care of the dog from Archie. From there, the dog’s relieved owners were contacted and a happy reunion ensued. It turns out the dog had been missing for five days! Today, Archie was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from Senior Ranger Charles as well as a Junior Ranger Medal. Subiaco Mayor Penny Taylor also attended the certificate presentation ceremony. Well done Archie!
