Venue Hire
Perth Modern School
Perth Modern School has spaces for hire that suit a range of functions including concerts, workshops, sporting events, and meetings.
All venues are air-conditioned. Venues are available for hire outside of school hours only.
Important conditions for hirers:
- Hirers must carry public liability insurance for a minimum amount of $20 million. Perth Modern School will require a copy of the policies certificate of currency prior to confirming the booking.
- All venues are alcohol free.
- Full payment of the estimated cost will be due 2 weeks prior to the booking date.
- Perth Modern School will employ, on behalf of and at the expense of hirers, such staff believed necessary for the purpose of hiring the venue out.

Please note until confirmed bookings are subject to change. Your booking will not be considered confirmed until a Deed of Licence agreement is signed and submitted, and you have received written confirmation from the Facilities Hire Coordinator.

Cyril Tyler Auditorium
Seats 669 people
Modern and state-of the-art with excellent acoustics
Large multi-functional stage
AV: screen, projector and PA System. Full lighting and audio, Grand Piano
Foyer including bar area (please note this is an alcohol-free venue).
Several green rooms
Access to ample parking.
Beasley Hall
Heritage architecture with large jarrah stage

Excellent acoustics
Plush seating for 300 people.
Tyler McCusker Sports Centre
Can seat up to 560 people with retractable seating for 160 and 400 additional chairs available for hire
AV: Includes in-house PA System, projectors, and two large drop down screens.
Nine badminton courts, three volleyball courts, one basketball court and one netball court.
Old Gymnasium
1 sports hall (boys), includes change room and toilets
1 sports hall (girls), includes change room and toilets.
Parsons Building Lecture Theatre
Large, airy space with seating and tables for up to 120 people
AV: Projector, screen, and speakers
Access to refectory sitting area, tables, and an urn available upon request.
Parsons Refectory
Seating for up to 80 people
Additional tables and urn available on request
Catering available during the school term.
Embleton Music Centre
Large open space suitable for up to 60 people
Two breakout rooms
Individual music studio music rooms
Excellent acoustics.
Andrews Building
Large central area with standing space for 300 people
15 classrooms that seat 30 people each (AV equipment available)
One meeting room with whiteboard suitable for up to 12 people
Access to tea and coffee facilities negotiable.
Stokes Building
Large hall area with movable seating and tables for up to 60 people
10 classrooms that seat 30 people (AV equipment available)
AV: Drop down screen and projector
Gazebo and courtyard.
Casey Drama Centre
Seating for 100
Reception area with kitchenette
Dressing room
Stage lighting and PA system available.
Irene Greenwood Studio
2 x large spacious studios.
1 studio with Tarkett floor, barre, full length mirror
