HIRE A FACILITY
Perth Modern School has spaces for hire that suit a range of functions including concerts, workshops, sporting events, and meetings. All venues are air-conditioned. Venues are available for hire outside of school hours only. If you would like to make a booking for your event please email PerthModern.FacilitiesHire@education.wa.edu.au
Please note until confirmed bookings are subject to change. Your booking will not be considered confirmed until a Deed of Licence agreement is signed and submitted, and you have received written confirmation from the Facilities Hire Coordinator.

Auditorium – Beasley Hall
- Seats 300 people
- Heritage architecture with large jarrah stage
- AV: screen, projector and PA System
- Excellent acoustics
- Free parking
Hall: AV System, sound and lighting technician*, toilet facilities, cleaning and parking
Concert facilities: As above including an area for supper
Use of piano: (including compulsory tune).
Rehearsal: without sound or lighting, cleaning not included
*Sound and lighting technicians are not included when booking the Auditorium or Concert facilities.
Tyler McCusker Sports Centre
- Seats up to 560 people with retractable seating for 160 and 400 additional chairs available for hire
- AV: Includes in-house PA System, projectors, and two large drop down screens.
- Nine badminton courts, three volleyball courts, one basketball court and one netball court.
- Free parking
Old Gymnasium
- 1 sports hall (boys), includes change room and toilets.
- 1 sports hall (girls), includes change room and toilets
- Free parking
Refectory
- Seating for up to 80 people
- Access to hot water (urn)
- Disabled toilet access
- Catering available during the school term
- Free parking
Embleton Building – Music Centre
- Large open space suitable for up to 60 people
- Two breakout rooms
- Excellent acoustics
- Tea and coffee facilities (tea and coffee not included)
- Individual music studio music rooms with piano also available

Andrews Building
- Large central area with standing space for 300 people
- 15 class rooms that seat 30 people each
- Smartboard / Projector and screen in every classroom
- Meeting room with whiteboard suitable for up to 12 people
- Access to tea and coffee facilities negotiable
- Free parking
Stokes Building
- Large hall area with movable seating and tables for up to 60 people
- 10 class rooms that seat 30 people and include AV equipment
- AV: Drop down screen and projector
- Gazebo and courtyard
- Free parking
Classrooms
- Includes 30 desk and tables
- AV equipment: smart board or Projector and Screen
- Free parking
Booking Inquiry
Important conditions for hirers:
- Hirers must carry public liability insurance for a minimum amount of $10 million. Perth Modern School will require a copy of the policies certificate of currency prior to confirming the booking.
- Full payment of the estimated cost will be due 2 weeks prior to the booking date.
- Perth Modern School will employ, on behalf of and at the expense of hirers, such staff believed necessary for the purpose of hiring the venue out.
